Slime Adventure 1.0 Release!
The 1.0 Update is finally here!
After 3 months of development, I`m proudly releasing the final major (and the biggest) update for this small gameboy game.
This is my first GB Studio (and a videogame in general) project and I`ve had some really great time studying both pixel art and gamedev for it.
Thanks to pawu and BarrelOfCucumbers for playtesting: your help and support was very valuable and I really appreciate it!
This update includes:
Added:
- New locations - Forest, Hills;
- The Crossroads were completely reworked into Slime Village (so it`s basically a new location);
- New characters - Brave Slime and Flower Slime;
- New Quest - Flower Picking;
- Music (stock GB Studio tracks by Rulz);
- Two Easter Eggs (including a slime and...someone else!);
Other:
- Reworked/updated basically all locations, including title and ending screens;
- Fixed possible softlock in Treasure Hunt quest;
- Updated collision for all characters and sprites;
- Updated sprites for some characters;
- Some small adjustments and enhancements for game logic;
- Updated localization files.
Thank you again for all the support!
I may release some minor updates and bug fixes for this game, but I consider this project as finished and I`m planning on moving to something else.
